The year has come to an end. 2009 was a year that saw more than 2100
residential fires spread throughout the five boroughs. No matter the
amount of fires, the results stay the same. Families who become
displaced by fire!
The mission of SILVER LINING OUTREACH is to provide humanitarian
assistance to families who become displaced by fire. We saw that
mission accomplished. We know that we can improve on that mission
by serving more families for 2010. Next year brings new partnerships
throughout the city that will help provide the extended services to
affected families.
SILVER LINING OUTREACH recognizes the need for a pro-active
response within the city. In 2010, our services will begin to stretch into
New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In the past two years, fire has been a
major impact on family life in New York and the neighboring states.
