Pastor Randolph E. Ferdinand is the Pastor and founder of Helping Hands Christian Community Center a ministry and a Church. Located at 326 Junius St. , Brooklyn, N.Y. 11212 between Sutter and Blake avenue in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.
Pastor R. Ferdinand never had the desire to be a Pastor as a child none the less the founder of a ministry and a Church. God placed empathy for the homeless inside Pastor Ferdinand’s heart 35 years ago. As a native of Trinidad, Pastor R. Ferdinand moved to Canada and then to New York City. Upon his arrival at the Port Authority Bus Terminal Randolph Ferdinand (not Pastor a yet), was amazed to see the number of people living on the streets in such an abundant country, in such an affluent city as New York. The entire family all work together to fulfill God’s mandate to feed the hungry, house the homeless and clothe the naked. The images of those homeless people left a lasting impression which gave birth to a goal driven ministry and Church.
Helping Hands Ministry has combined efforts with SILVER LINING OUTREACH to provide extra services to families affected by fire. Families who become affected by fire and need temporary living assistance will be directed to Helping Hands Ministry. Pastor Randolph has created an environment for families to come to in their time of need. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless families throughout the city.
