SILVER LINING OUTREACH expands on its
efforts by aligning with the elected officials such
as the State Senator, Kevin Parker.
Within the Senator's Civic Involvement, he took
an active role in insuring that merchants such as
Sheldon Duncan, Manager of Papa John's Pizza,
get the recognition for their services during a
massive five alarm fire. The Senator has past a
Legislative Resolution that Honors Sheldon and
his staff for their efforts with our "Aid for Families
Displaced by Fire" project. With their assistance,
SILVER LINING OUTREACH was able to provide
pizza for all the affected families and workers on
that cold February night.
Our work with the Senator's office has created
other avenues of outreach. For fires that happen
within his district that we were not able to
respond immediately, they now can reach out to
the Senator and still receive our services.
